Siglapian Youth Alumni
"The school history is much richer when we have a strong Alumni. It is important to constantly look for self renewal. To meet its challenges ahead, the formation of its Siglapian Youth Alumni – its youth wing is an excellent idea. This will broaden its reach towards the young members whom I believe will contribute energy, creativity and resource into the alumni. This is evident in the hive of activities that has already been organized by the ad-hoc Youth Alumni since its inception this year. Without doubt, the present renewed and rejuvenated Alumni has vast potential for great work ahead. "
Mr Ng Chee Keong, Principal Siglap Secondary
28th July 2006 marks a chapter in the history of Siglap Secondary. The Siglapian Youth Alumni with the mission to engage the past and present while nurturing a cohesive future was established officially. Mr George Pereira graced the occasion. That's right, our own Uncle George, the care-taker of the school was the Guest of Honour. We wanted a humble figure that is familier to all graduated students.
