Nisha Hari Singh - SYA Vice President - Graduated in 2002
As a bubbly person, Nisha believed that every day should be started with a smile. As
an active Girl Guide, she nurtured compassion to assist her peers through guidance
and morale support. She began organizing welfare activities as a Peer-Support
Leader.
Her hobbies include writing journals and poetry. It is not a shock that she was a member of the Editorial Board. In 2002, Nisha led the school as Head Prefect while working closely with the school management in establishing the inaugural Student Council. As the last Head Prefect, Nisha contributions were an asset to the school.
When asked what motivated her to be Vice-Chairman of the SYA, Nisha felt, “it is only right for us,
Siglapians, to give something back to the school. Our reputation will only improve if past graduates are able to put their heads high and proudly called themselves Siglapians. Once a Siglapian, always a Siglapian.”
Nisha is currently an undergraduate in the National University of Singapore and is majoring in Chemistry.
